We know it's not easy attending a church for the first time. Where do I go? How should I dress? How long does it last? What about my kids? We want to answer some common questions to help you relax and enjoy your first worship experience at Cornerstone Community Church.
Where are you located? -
North Buffalo on the corner of Kenmore Ave. and Capen Blvd. next to Walgreens, near UB South Campus.
When do you meet? -
Our Worship Celebration is at 9:30 am every Sunday. Worship lasts about 1 hour.
How should I dress? -
Whatever makes you feel comfortable to worship. If you feel comfortable in a suit and tie, so be it! If jeans and a t-shirt float your boat, wear it!
What does worship look like? -
We start our Morning Celebration by singing songs led by our Worship Team. Then we share announcements and events going on in the life of the church. The children have a brief time up front with the pastor and then are dismissed to their classes. After a prayer, one of the pastors will share a message from the Bible that helps us see how God wants to work in our daily lives. We usually share communion on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Listen to a recent Message.
What is there for my children to do? -
Children remain in worship for singing, announcements, and Children's Moments with the pastor. They then head to the lower level for their own Bible and Life Time. Children's classes are broken up by grade level: PreK-2nd and 3th-5th. Certain times of the year, the children and youth may also rehearse for special musicals during this time.
Do you have nursery care? -
Yes! Care for babies and children to age 3 is available during the worship celebration on the lower level. For parents who wish to keep their little ones with them, a room is available in the back of the worship center.
