What to Expect

We know it's not easy attending a church for the first time.  Where do I go? How should I dress?  How long does it last?  What about my kids?  We want to answer some common questions to help you relax and enjoy your first worship experience at Cornerstone Community Church.

 

Where are you located? 

North Buffalo on the corner of Kenmore Ave. and Capen Blvd. next to Walgreens, near UB South Campus.

When do you meet? 

Our Worship Celebration is at 10:00 AM every Sunday.  Worship lasts about 1 hour.

How should I dress? 

Whatever makes you feel comfortable to worship.  If you feel comfortable in a suit and tie, so be it! If jeans and a t-shirt float your boat, wear it!

What does worship look like? 

We start our Morning Celebration with songs and prayer led by our Worship Team.  The children have a brief time with the pastor and remain in worship with their family.   Then we listen to a message from the Bible that helps us grow in our faith in God and live out that faith in our daily lives. We close with next steps, announcements, an offering, and final song.  We share communion on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
